Wrotham Heath Golf Club

Dress Code

Wrotham Heath Golf Club wishes to make everyone welcome

Wrotham Heath Golf Club aims to promote a friendly and relaxed atmosphere while maintaining a standard of dress—both on the course and in the clubhouse—that reflects the standards of a private members’ club.

Our dress code is designed not to be restrictive, but to help everyone enjoy the Club in comfort and mutual respect.

We believe there should be no need to oversee the dress of Members or Visitors. Good taste and consideration for others should be the guide, and this is the case in the vast majority of instances.

The following is provided as guidance:

Whilst Playing Golf:

  • Conventional golf attire is required.
  • Shorts should be tailored and can be worn with any colour socks (long or short).
  • Denim is not permitted.
  • Recognised golf shoes must be worn.

In the Clubhouse (unless otherwise specified):

  • Smart casual dress is expected.
  • Smart denim is allowed.
  • Deck shoes and sandals may be worn with or without socks.
  • Clean, spikeless golf shoes may be worn in the lounge during summer months (May - October).

Please Note:

  • Non-golfing sportswear, including tracksuits, running or cycling shorts, and beachwear, is not appropriate anywhere within the Lounge.
  • We ask that all clothing be clean and in good condition— please avoid wearing dirty or torn garments.

Thank you for helping us maintain a comfortable and respectful atmosphere for everyone.
